The 309LMo MIG and TIG filler welding wire and rod are specifically tailored for welding austenitic stainless steels and for joining different metals. Their chemical makeup usually consists of 23–25% chromium, 12–15% nickel, and 0.5–1% molybdenum, which gives them impressive resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and high-temperature cracking. These fillers yield welds with a tensile strength of about 580–690 MPa, along with good ductility and excellent toughness.
