The AWS Class E317LT1-1/T1-4 flux core wire is made from low-carbon austenitic stainless steel, primarily consisting of iron, chromium (18–20%), nickel (11–14%), and molybdenum (3–4%), with small amounts of manganese and silicon. The low carbon content helps reduce carbide precipitation, which boosts resistance to intergranular corrosion. In terms of mechanical properties, the weld metal offers a tensile strength of about 75 ksi (515 MPa) and an elongation of around 35%, providing excellent toughness and ductility. The self-shielded flux guarantees clean, fully austenitic weld deposits with minimal porosity.
Premium E317LT1-1/T1-4 dual shield flux cored wire offering superior corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, ideal for high-quality welds in industrial applications using external shielding gas.
High-performance E317LT1-1/T1-4 self-shielded flux cored wire designed for outdoor welding without external shielding gas, providing excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
Versatile E317LT1-1/T1-4 flux cored arc welding wire delivering exceptional weld quality, strong mechanical properties, and superior corrosion resistance for diverse industrial applications.
