The AWS Class E316LT0-1/T0-4 flux core wire is made from low-carbon austenitic stainless steel, featuring a composition of iron, chromium (17–19%), nickel (11–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), along with trace amounts of manganese and silicon. Its low carbon content helps minimize the risk of carbide precipitation, enhancing resistance to intergranular corrosion. On the mechanical side, it boasts a tensile strength of about 75 ksi (515 MPa) and an elongation of around 35%, providing excellent ductility and toughness. The self-shielding flux ensures clean welds with minimal porosity and fully austenitic deposits, making it suitable for corrosive and harsh service environments.
E316LT0-1/T0-4 dual shield flux cored wire, available in sizes from 0.8mm to 1.6mm, provides excellent corrosion resistance. Ideal for welding stainless steel with enhanced arc stability and weld quality.
